Not necessarily. We have three main session times: Morning 08:00 – 13:00, Afternoon 13:00 – 18:00 and all day 08:00 – 18:00. You may drop off and collect your child at any point during the session he/she is booked in for. The prices of each session are fixed.
It is strongly preferred that any person that is collecting your child is introduced face to face beforehand. If this is not possible, then written authorisation is required and the person collecting will need to bring valid photographic ID.
Yes, there are several staff members that do offer babysitting. Kidz Kabin Pembroke Studios Ltd. does not accept any liability for this service. However, parents are welcome to ask individual staff directly as and when appropriate.
No, there are over 15 nationalities amongst the child population and 11 languages spoken between the staff. Several children start the nursery with little or no English but tend to pick it up quickly as they are surrounded by other English speaking children and staff. Whilst English is the primary language of the nursery, staff with additional languages are of course able to support new children in their mother tongue to help them feel more settled.
Yes. We would never expect a child to start in a new setting without any settling in. Whilst we appreciate that some children are more used to childcare settings than others, it is important to recognise the need to adjust to the new space, children, staff and routine. There are a range of settling in options to suit each child under the SETTLING IN page.
There is a small amount of leeway time if late collecting children. However, if you are more than 15 minutes late, you will be charged late fees in accordance with the late collection policy. If you think you will need to collect your child later, you may book in a late pickup via the extra session form.
Yes of course. Please bring any cake in the original container so that we can ensure we cater for any children with allergies or intolerances and offer them an alternative. Any cakes containing nuts are strictly forbidden.
Yes. We provide breakfast, lunch, tea and snacks. All meals are freshly prepared on site by our dedicated chef, Derick and included in the fees. Current menus can be accessed via OUR BLOG.
No. Our staffing is based on the numbers of children booked in according to their contract and therefore we cannot swap sessions around. However, due to our higher than normal staff ratios, we can usually accommodate children to come in for an extra session, which can be booked via the Booking Form For Extra Sessions tab.
Yes. Fees are applicable throughout the year regardless of absences as we must still cover the expenses of the running of the nursery.

Yes, there is a 2 month written notice period to amend or end the contract
We charge a non-refundable registration fee of £50. There is a deposit required to secure your place which is returned to you when leaving (assuming the proper notice is given).
